Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts wanted increase followers by giving a little back at Christmas, so we created an animated Christmas story for Instagram and WeChat.

Over 25 days, in advent calendar form, we followed the journey of a Christmas Star as it travelled around the world to 23 Shangri-La destinations before getting home again just in time for Christmas.

We worked with award winning animation studio Cirkus to craft all twenty five of the 15 second stories.

One story was released per day, and on Christmas Day all twenty five were released as a 2 minute Christmas Story.

Every day fans could screenshot and repost the moment when the Star's heart glowed, and win a range of prizes from Shangri-La.
